CHANGE BOOT ANIMATION IN MTK ANDROID DEVICE

HOW TO CHANGE BOOT ANIMATION (Samsung/Micromax/LG etc)

• First of all use root explorer or any similar app and go to system media/images and copy boot_logo.bin and paste it your sd card.
• Now download image search editor(from below) and extract it.
• Open image search editor.exe and select the file boot_logo.bin
• Open boot_logo.bin and select 16 colours from left side panel
• Now click BMP button on the toolbar on the top
• Now resize the image by clicking size.
• If you are using QVGA then enter 240x320 
• HVGA  enter 320x480
• WVGA enter 480x800
• Now with the help of photoshop or any other tool, open the image that you want to replace. Resize the image to same size of your screen/screen resolution (example: 320x480)
Save the image as a normal bmp image
• Now, in Image Search Editor, select: Edit-->Replace by BMP. Select the bmp image that you saved.
• Click apply
• Then go to file>>save as BIN and save it
• Rename the newly saved .bin file to boot_logo and replace it your /media/images folder and reboot.
